Godzilla Vs. Mothra
Mothra, a giant -- you guessed it -- moth, was a heroic force with its own movie series, and this film pits the flying insect against our scaly friend with killer halitosis. Featuring kitschy effects (the fairy twins who talk to Mothra have even been parodied on "South Park"), Godzilla vs. Mothra was directed by Ishirô Honda, making it one of the series' standouts.

Gojira (Godzilla)
A 400-foot dinosaur springs to life in the wake of heavy nuclear weapons testing over the Pacific Ocean, and before long, the fire-breathing Gojira (aka Godzilla) makes a beeline for an unsuspecting Tokyo. This classic 1950s film is the original Japanese version of Godzilla.
